The world revolves around egos. Some are able to keep it in check while others will spar with the ego’s of others. This is a losing battle. No one wins when the ego is not kept in check. It is a match that is destined to fail time and time again. Of course, we are not talking about a healthy dose of ego but those with an inflated sense of purpose. Those who believe that the world revolves around them. While this might be true in the mind of the individual, walking their unique life path, truth is, other people exist within that world. There are many people who walk along side others. If you were to look at society from this standpoint you will recognize that everybody is mostly worried about their own selves. The problems they might have, leads them to consume their entire existence on their own feelings. At times, this can cause the invalidation of others feelings. People often do not trust other individuals and are quick to doubt or instill their own projections on others. At the slightest inconvenience the ego can erupt in fury, perceiving everyone as a threat.
Kill your ego and ignore the ego’s of others. This leads to a peaceful life.
